Santhi Nilayam is a Care and Support Centre for people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. It was opened on 14 August 2006.

(To provide quality health care to the sick that is comprehensive and holistic with a preferential option for the people infected with and affected by HIV-AIDS.)

Our mission is to commit ourselves in addressing the comprehensive needs of the HIV-AIDS patient, assuring their dignity and overall quality of life, by motivating, caring, supporting, and rehabilitating them, with a priority for the palliative care of those who are in the end stage of their disease.

FACILITIES

Here we have facilities to care for 40 HIV/AIDS patients. We are focusing on the following:
counselling facility for People Living with & affected by HIV/AIDS
treatment of opportunistic infections
palliative care of those who are in the end stage of the disease

Since 2007 one of the initial formation stages, Postulancy is situated in this Community.
