Affiliated with the Congregation of the Brothers of St. John of God, Br. Born in Nedumkandam, Kerala, he joined the congregation at the age of 15, inspired by their mission to provide holistic care to the needy. After completing his religious formation and education, he specialized in nursing services and hospital management, which equipped him for leadership roles within the congregation.

Since 2014, as the Director of St. John’s Hospital, Br. Baiju has led the institution through significant expansions and modernization, including the construction of a state-of-the-art cardiology block and the implementation of advanced patient care protocols. Under his leadership, the hospital has not only enhanced its medical facilities but also expanded its social outreach initiatives, such as free health camps, mobile medical units, mental health programs, and housing projects for the poor.
