Solar plant
The Solar Plant Department plays a vital role in maintaining a steady and reliable supply of medical-grade oxygen throughout the hospital. This facility is crucial for supporting a wide range of medical treatments, emergency care, surgical procedures, and respiratory therapies. By producing oxygen on-site, the hospital ensures uninterrupted availability, improving patient safety and operational efficiency.

270 KW SOLAR SYSTEM AT ST JOHNS HOSPITAL KATTAPPANA
We are proud to announce the successful installation of a 270 kW on-grid roof top solar system at our hospital. This project is a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable energy practices.
The solar system consists of 270 kW of Premier Energies solar panels, made from high-efficiency photovoltaic cells and Sungrow inverters, which convert DC power generated by the solar panels into AC power, synchronized with the grid frequency. The solar system is expected to reduce our hospital’s carbon emission, energy savings etc.
The installation of the 270 kW on-grid solar system at our hospital is a significant milestone in our efforts to promote sustainable energy practices. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting eco-friendly initiatives in our community. This project is a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable energy practices.
